We are a small, high end residential interior design firm looking for a qualified fall intern. This is an unpaid, part time position and we can be flexible with scheduling.
The outline of responsibilities include:
Assist Senior Designer
Organize and maintain resource library
Organize and maintain office contact information
Contact vendors and showrooms for quotes and samples
Shop for fabrics at showrooms
Research furniture, lighting, etc. online
Ship packages and coordinate messengers
Professional phone manner required; some AutoCAD skills would be helpful. Familiarity with fabric and furniture types and experience working in an office setting would be beneficial.
